the past year or so was kinda weird for me; a combination of creative block and lots of life getting in the way led to me just not recording much of anything for a while. i'd been sitting on this song idea for most of that time itching to get it out, but wasn't able to flesh it out fully until the past couple months or so. i feel like that anxiousness reflects in the constant major-to-minor shift in the chord progression of this track.
